What parents say about tuition at Education First
Grace's teacher told me that she had grown in confidence and was even putting her hand up in class now. She said "Whatever you're doing, keep doing it." I told her that Grace was having tuition in a small class at Education First. The teacher said "Well, whatever they are doing is working." Karen E.
I just wanted to thank the tutor teachers at Education First, Tony Hollins, Jim O’Hare and Trevor Phelps for tutoring with my son Ryan last year in his studies towards his HSC. Ryan got an ATAR of 83.55 which gave him an offer from the University of Sydney into the Bachelor of Health Sciences – 3 year program, with 5 options for different Master’s degrees but at present he is looking at the Master’s degree in Physiotherapy. Again, thanks to you all for your excellent tutoring. Each day when Ryan finished his tutoring, he would comment on how much he got out of the extra sessions. Maureen R.
I would like to thank you for the friendly service you have provided to our son Peter (Year 11) at Education First. Peter’s confidence has grown over the years. I asked him what it is that he likes about Education First and his comments were, “The classes are fun, they are small classes and if I have a question I always get an answer." Unfortunately, due to the larger classes at school there is not always time for the teacher to attend to the individual needs of each child. He enjoys the classes and would be disappointed if he lost the opportunity to continue with Education First. Thanking you for your support over the years. Gaye and Kevin L.
Despite struggling a little earlier in the year, Nathan ended up with an 88 for Advanced English and an ATAR of 86.3. He got into International Studies at Macquarie Uni which was his first choice. That was without the regional bonus as it wasn't allocated for his particular course. Thanks for all your hard work with Nathan over the last 8 years first with maths, then essay writing and English. It's good to know all the hard hours everyone put in paid off in the end. Donna F.
Cameron was reluctantly dragged along to your centre, fearing that tutoring was punishment for not concentrating at school. But he found it an encouraging and safe environment to learn within. His results have improved dramatically. Lauren has developed a more positive mental approach so that she can now tackle problems in a more confident way. Michelle B.
Your tuition is provided in a calm and sensitive manner by people with a genuine interest, in a professional manner. You have helped my daughter regain her confidence. Helen W.
You have that special "know how". Reanna's grades have risen to a confident high. She now loves and understands her Science class. There is a lovely family feel to your centre, keep up the great work. Lyn B.
Brianna has regained confidence in her mathematical abilities. She has also gained more strategies on how to study. You have obviously provided Brianna a non-judgemental environment enabling her capabilities to come to the fore. Your pleasant and professional manner has made it an enjoyable experience. We highly recommend your services. Lorene and Steve S.
I like the positivity of your staff, their patience and great attitude - nothing is too hard. Your support for my children has helped them persevere until a problem is understood. Great work! Paul and Vicki J.
